Views of The City

As you step into the gallery, there's a small description on a little panel on the side.

One morning, I awoke at an unholy hour, as the sun had begun to rise. I could not sleep, as it was so, incredibly hot out, so I set out to wander the streets of Nowhere. I was enthralled by the view of Nameless, the sun rising above the city across the river. This show contains views of that city.

After the sun had risen, I proceeded to wander elsewhere, entranced by the fascinating skyline. As somebody who had mainly lived in rural and suburban places for so long, seeing the horizon shaped so aggressively by the human artifice had a powerful effect on me. I've taken photos of the sky before, but this was something new.
