Visualize: The World of Cards
Visualize: The World of Cards is a search-and-find photo series using the wide world of collectible card games as its subject material. Collectible cards are incredibly cool and have a huge amount of variety in their styles and their artwork, and while working on Visualize: The Tarot, I found them to be compelling subject matter for photos. Thus, I have made this entire new photo series based around photographing cards.
There are two seperate axes on which this project is based. There are photos by game, which represent the full range of artwork and art styles within individual games, and there are photos by attribute, which make connections between common aesthetic and visual themes across different games. The War is an example of a photo by game (Cardfight Vanguard), while The Blue is an example of a photo by attribute (Blue).
Additionally, when each World of Cards photo is put up, it will be hidden somewhere on the website. At the same time, the previous World of Cards photo will be added to the Visualize! homepage and a solution will be posted, showing where it was hidden.
Rules
- The goal of each riddle is to find each object listed.
- Each object will only need to be found once in each riddle. No objects will be called for more than once in a riddle.
- Difficult or uncommon items that are less known can be clicked on for an explanation of what that item is.
- All riddles in World of Cards are equivalent in difficulty to Arcane riddles from Visualize: The Tarot.
