The World of Cards Puzzles

In late January, I decided to announce the Visualize: The World of Cards series by releasing them in secret, hiding them with a series of puzzles inspired by works like neopets and other ARG-like puzzles involving looking into HTML and finding hidden stuff. Here's the solution to each puzzle!

Puzzle 1:

Puzzle 1 was very simple. In the announcement for the new visualizes and new features, you were able to highlight the page and see some hidden text.

On The Hierophant: Arcane, the f in five-thousand was blue and was an active link to Visualize: The War. This marked the end of the first puzzle.

Puzzle 2:

Puzzle 2 was a lot more complex, requiring looking at the page source.

I indicated this with a smug rhyme in the hidden white text.

The first hint, given in the source of the website homepage, was to go back to Visualize: The War.

The next hint was found on the new sky ablaze page, which was designed to look obviously fake and low-effort.

Looking at the source showed one final hint, indicating to click on a dog's face in Visualize: The War.

Clicking on this would lead to a rather odd page.

Highlighting the text here would reveal to look in the source code.

And the source code would reveal the final solution, which would lead to Visualize: The Blue. Do note that the URL that puzzle gave you does not work at this time.

Puzzle 3:

Puzzle 3 opened simply enough, with a link to an obviously suspicious page called _.html, or The Vault.

Highlighting the text and looking at the source code would reveal what to do to find a combination to put into the URL to open the vault.

Clicking on these three spots would produce three code fragments in the URL that would produce the follwing code: 625431. Entering that code in the URL would lead to 625431.html, a twine game now referred to as "The Visualize World Act 1".

Finally, completing that twine game would lead to the Puzzle Finale, which had my final thoughts on this whole project. You can read more about those there. There may or may not be one final secret hidden there, too.
